From first introductions to shared purpose
On the final day of Streamax's 2026 R·Nova Training Camp, new graduate hires presented AI-assisted stories and practical workplace ideas to their peers. The work reflected five days of learning, discussion, and collaboration. It also showed a central aim of the camp: helping new hires understand how their work can begin with a real need and lead to a useful response.
Five days earlier, the cohort gathered at Streamax's Shenzhen headquarters. A Smile Check-In and small-group activities, including "Straight Flush" and "Find the Person", fostering strategic thinking and collaboration, and everyone actively participated, the initial unfamiliarity quickly turned into familiarity through the interaction.
Senior leaders then delivered inspiring lectures to the new recruits. COO Emmett Liu focused on global operations strategy and the importance of customer success, "Everything we do at Streamax is about one thing—making our customers successful." Henry Li, General Manager of the Product Development Center, challenged the recruits to rethink their relationship with technology. Alan Jin, the VP and Overseas General Manager combined his personal career experience and gave a vivid Fireside Chat to share his career insights.
Overseas marketing leaders from different regions also joined to share frontline stories and answer questions. The sessions gave new recruits a clear view of Streamax's direction as a global road-safety innovator, the transformative role of AI in their products and daily work, and most importantly, how they creates value for customers. One recruit shared: "Before today, I saw Streamax as a safety tech company. Now I see a mission shaping the future of road mobility, and a place where I can grow along with it."
Learning through customer scenarios
To enable new recruits to better understand the Streamax’s different product line—trucking, mining, school bus, cameras, taxi, public transit, and OEM, each group learned the solution brochures in advance. They used a practical framework: identify an operating scenario, consider the needs of customers and end users, then discuss how a Streamax solution could respond.
Leaders from the R&D team also introduced the company's R&D structure and explained how different teams contribute to product development.
Another day of the camp took the new recruits beyond the office, they visited the factory, laboratory and autonomous driving test site. They experienced the L4-level bus that the Streamax was testing. From the production line to the technology, this immersive visit made the mission of “Building a brighter future of transportation with technology” clearer in their mind.
Turning observations into ideas
During the learning and visiting period, teamwork were also carried out simultaneously. Some groups prepared to bring Streamax's growth journey stories to life through AI scripts and short videos. Others turned their focus to business innovation, developing practical AI-powered solutions aimed at streamlining workflows, optimizing service models, and driving tangible efficiency gains for the company.
The Streamax Value-Creation Bazaar added another layer of practice. Each group received RMB 400 in start-up capital and a booth theme. They spoke with colleagues, identified a workplace need, designed a product or service in response, and presented their idea in a live pitch.
One group focused on common anxieties in a first job, including how to start a conversation across teams or ask for help in an unfamiliar workplace. They created Office Communication Playing Cards. Each card presented a common communication situation on one side and a suggested response on the other, giving new hires a simple prompt for discussion and practice.
Another group created the Mindful Clinic, where members role-played as traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, offering one-on-one consultations to empathize frustrations and prescribe personalized "mental wellness remedies"—practical strategies for managing stress, adjusting leadership styles, and regaining confidence under pressure.
Both projects began with the same question: what do people need in this situation, and what practical response could make their work easier?

A starting point for new roles
The last day of the training camp, each group presented their one-week learning outcomes. From AI-powered storytelling to real-world solutions, each achievement embodied the wisdom and collaboration of the team. On the evening, Streamax organized a informal dinner for all the R·Nova, giving cohort time to reflect on their experiences and relieve fatigue.
Streamax has always believed that talent is the core driving force for innovation. R·Nova established a way of working for these new graduate hires: begin with the situation, listen to the people involved, work with colleagues across teams, and use technology in service of a practical response. That is their first step from joining Streamax to contributing to its work.
