Can GT1 Pro connect directly to an IPC for video expansion?

No. GT1 Pro cannot connect to IPC directly for video functions. Video processing and AI analysis capabilities are integrated into DC Max. To implement video telematics, you must connect DC Max to GT1 Pro first.

If I just want to install a dashcam, can I install DC Max directly?

No. DC Max must be used together with GT1 Pro. If you are just interested in installing an all-in-one Dashcam, you could try AD Plus 2.0 or AD Max, which are both all-in-one dashcam.
